Here is a quick and ugly cut of a Napa Pro select by m+h made in mexico. Any damage seen is from me cutting.
I would avoid this filter completely
Can and base plate construction was solid. Had some rust in center tube that I don't think got pictured. First time I came across one of these exact filters I had to toss it due to so much rust. Some tube louvers were not open.
Filter media had wide pleats and really thin filter media, tore extremely easy. I was very surprised - have seen and felt construction paper thicker and more tear resistant.. the media very easily came off the end cap with just a light push. I have no doubt this filter would have torn in use.
