My agency uses the ProSelects and Federated Full Syn or Napa Full Syn for 5k OCIs. We have Caprices, Tahoe’s, and Explorers.

A lower end filter, I used to cut open filters at work in the 1980s and low cost filters are just that. Fram orange cans media has always been tougher that most lower cost filters.

Wait a minute, some people in the thread linked below said that the Proselect filter media tore because of too many miles. Are you telling me that it could have been torn up like that at only 3000 miles?!?

Hard to say when a torn filter actually tore during the use period. When the reported torn Purolator filters were coming in frequently, some of them had tears with less than 3000 miles on them.
