It seems almost no NAPA stores have or can order the NAPA oil analysis sample kits.

Anyone know what the story is?

AlsGlobal processes the NAPA oil samples and I have a lot of history about my vehicles in their database.

I think but don't know that the WIX branded oil sample kits are processed also by AlsGlobal.

Yes, the Napa kits are the same as Wix, and both are processed by ALS at the lab of your choice.

As far as the stores that can order it, just check the site for BOPIS, and order from one of those stores. Delaware is a small state, so going to Wilmington or Newark shouldn't be a problem :sneaky:

Napa seems to carry it under the Napa name as well as Wix-branded

I am in NC this week visiting family. I found I could order the NAPA oil analysis kit and pick it up at a Goldsboro NAPA. I ordered it and 30 minutes latter the store called me and said there is only one in the state and it was at a NAPA store on other side of state and so all they could do is cancel my order.

In southern DE I cannot order it.

A few years ago NAPA was not paying ALS Global and they were holding up processing NAPA oil analysis kits. But that got resolved.

I will just order the WIX kit from Amazon. It's just under $20. No going to drive around to various NAPA stores trying to hunt the oil analysis kit down.

From ALS Global

NAPA has been purchased by a new company, and is in the process of getting kits plaed back on the shelves for customers.

If you are in need of testing, the WIX 24077 kits can be found at O'Reily stores as well as on Amazon. They have similar testing to the NAPA kits.

We also offer ALS branded kits, but they are only sold in packs of 10.

I had to give up on oil analyses as half of the ones I've sent off disappeared in the post.

I've mentioned this before.
My money's on a "doo-gooder" employee detecting a liquid and making the parcel vanish.

Were your samples in a box or envelope or just a stamp on the outer container?

I have had things move faster in envelope mailer. Like reuse one from Amazon.
