NAPA has their Full Synthetic on sale in our area for $15.50 for 5qt jug. I've used Mobil-1 for 20 years, buying the 5qt jug from Walmart for ~$25. NAPA is bottled by Valvoline. Anyone use NAPA or Valvoline? Its a big price savings.

Use it all the time it’s my go too. Only time I don’t use it if my stash is out and NAPA isn’t on sale. Then I run super tech. Most the time I buy 3 or 4 jugs when NAPA has the sale.NAPA has their Full Synthetic on sale in our area for $15.50 for 5qt jug. I took a Ford 1.9L to over 500K on various brands of conventional oil.Might be an argument to be had if you are questioning the "best" oil to push the engine into the 300-400kmi range.
A Briggs-Stratton engine will run almost forever on any type of motor oil.I took a Ford 1.9L to over 500K on various brands of conventional oil.
I've always ran the cheapest filters I could find. I'm currently running A/C, Pensky, Castol, Car & Driver filters on my Escort's that I bought years ago on store closeouts at $ .25-$1. each. Probably bought some of those filters 20+ years ago and still have enough to run several more years.I wonder if "filtration is the key for modern engines" when so many OEM oil filters seem to favor 'flow' over filtration? I think most engines will last just as long running Supertech or 'jobber' filters changed more frequently. The advantage of higher end filters like FU, RP, Napa Platinum etc...is that they can be ran longer IMO.
There's a NAPA about 6 miles from my house that l refuse to go to anymore. They really only want to cater to the local farmers, and their prices are outrageous! Thanks. I have a change up next that I bought the first of this month. My NAPA stores are about 40 miles away.
One North , about 40 miles , has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
One South about 35 miles, has great customer service.
