Napa full synthetic / Valvoline, which one is it?

It may make sense but everything from additive levels, viscosity from 0 to 100C, pour point, and TBN are within the margin of error of being identical. Maybe out of every 100 gallons blended the house brand stuff gets a quart more oil group I base oil blended in and a relatively small blender is looking for every avenue of approach to make additional profit having sperate lines of production to make the same product really does not make sense especially because Valvoline is making x for blending house brand products.

Nah I would bet it is a fair amount different than that miniscule difference...

Though I think the Napa oil would and does hold up quite well in many applications. . I have Napa full synthetic 5w30 in my car right now... And got more to run as well.

Here is the product sheet for the syn blend Napa oil. Sorry I don't have the Valvoline to compare it to but I'm sure it can be found.
