Agreed....considering the same for my 4Runner.

OP, why not use a quart of 0w-40 for the 6th....?

That's what I plan on doing for the 4 runner. I have plenty of 0w40 M1 on hand so I will use the 5w20 and a quart of the Mobil 1 0w40 in the 4Runner. Still have time before I change anything.
The 4 runner is easier on oil. Probably will not even change the oil filter till the 10k or 1 year mark.

I am running that same oil in my `06 Honda Odyssey right now and will be running it again when I change it next month. My quarts have a 2008 date. The only issue I saw was some clumps of clearish goo that poured out. With heat in a running engine the globs will redesolve and all will be good. (I hope)

So my answer is... Shake the quarts and run it in some older car that has high miles or give it to someone needy who has a old car. Your precious 4Runner I would not run it in.

I run it in my Odyssey because it has 146,000 miles on it an is borderline shot. Rust coming through, seats worn, etc.

Also SM oil would technically void the warranty on the `18 4Runner. IMO not worth the risk. I would sleep better at night that you don't use it in a car you love.
