My wife is like Larry David?--- she also does not congratulate me when I bring home a new car

My bro confided in me that my sis in-law is really upset over his purchase of another Raptor (brand new). I'm thinking they have separate finances, she earns more, so why does she even care? They don't have kids. Human nature, maybe jealousy

Also I'm with Larry why would someone congratulate another on a new car lol it's not like it's an achievement

There is so much good content on that show, my oldest daughter cant sink into the couch deep enough from cringing.

Since this thread is on Larry David and wives mixed in.....I often find myself in weird Larry David situations.

Bathrooms. Today, they have green, and red, so imho why knock? Red means keep going on to a different one. I open a door and a woman is inside. Aghast, I slam the door shut, and hear her say, "You can come in!" I told my buddy and he was rolling saying I should have accepted the invitation just to see what would happen. I could see Larry being in this situation.

I got my son a PS5. I'm not pro video games and never had any except NHL '98 on a PC. The reason I got it was so he can play NHL '25 and learn the rules of ice hockey, another parent said this is how kids learn today. My wife said it's too much take it back (got it new $425, disc version bundled, which is $75 off--I don't mean to be a jerk but if it is useful, $425 is ok with me, it's not the end of the world). Sometimes, I think spouses simply like to reject "transactions" of their spouses.

My wife seemed to get jealous when she found out I was texting a hockey mom. Why? They text one another. Is it because she's 20 years younger and attractive? So what? She sent me a video of her and her daughter (my son's classmate) during the Super Bowl. No, I didn't show my wife, she would have flipped out. Again, I could see Larry and Cheryl getting into it over this scenario too.

Life is too boring to not let our inner Larry, out. 😊

Maybe she's the more financially prudent of the two... it's really easy to spend more than you should on cars even if you can technically "afford" them. I am guilty of this myself; I like cars too much.

My life seems sooooo boring compared to yours / :)

Last night I told my wife that even thou I've never been interested in participating in sports on women's team, now I'm not allowed to, full stop, so, don't call me into kitchen to do dishes.... the trick is to know how far you can push your jokes, she laughed with me, I did the dishes... :ROFLMAO:

Actually I felt this way when a vendor took us out 1 1/2 weeks ago to the Capital Grille. We all work in the same industry. I can't call him a kid but in my mind 40 years old is a kid. He said he just got a brand new home in Denver but it has a small basement, 1,500 sq ft lol Then the guy next to him said he downsized his house to 4,500 sq ft.

Again we all work in the same industry and our incomes are comparable, so just like the talking heads song, I asked myself, where is my beautiful house?! :ROFLMAO:
