In another post, I teased my “new” car purchase. Now I’ve got (bad) photos… so here it is! It has 26K on it, and it replaces the 230K 2003 Toyota Corolla that my wife bought new before starting law school. When she bought her new IS350, the Corolla became my commuter car. The Corolla has been sold to a family friend who needed inexpensive, reliable transportation. In that other post, I mentioned that the only new car I’d be considering was the Lexus ES 350. Essentially, that’s what I bought, with a different skin and a few years on it. The carport is also a recent addition to my property.

The ES350 and Avalon was also on my very short list before I landed on the GX460. Nice ride sir.

Congrats on one of the last of the breed. It should serve you very well as long as you wish it to.

Congratulations, wishing you many trouble free miles. Great choice of vehicles - I’m about 25k miles shy from hitting 230k miles on my ‘05 Corolla and the Avalon is what we’ve planned on getting to replace the Corolla when the time comes.
