My Wal Mart has both Purolator 20k and ENDURANCE filters

The lady and I went to Wal Mart for few items. Strolled the filter and oil isle. As you see the WNDURANCE are on small end and at $12~ aren’t moving fast. I won’t pay $9.47 for a P.O Purolator either.


Guy said this Sunday the endurance will be re marked (hopefully marked down $2-3 )

Some M1 filters like one for Dakota and big stuff is still Puro filth.

The lady went to other Wal Mart (both are like 7 miles away from us). She reports at that one; no endurance just Purolator 20k.

Went to my WM yesterday and found no more Endurance filters. Dang it. I was hoping to at least find them on clearance. Plenty of XG's, though.

If history any guide, as @Hootbro alluded to in another thread, possible the FE will show up at Rock Auto to closeout for less. Did that with the Fram HM.

As for topic, yesterday noticed FE now cleared, slots for the Puro in place. As for price the "20k", for the 7317 app I use, ~$8.50, if at least good as my experience p1/PL series, not bad imo.

If you're okay with the leaky ruffles then grab some on sale. Fresh reminder that these were Wal-Mart "Exclusives" so you won't see them anymore after stock is sold. WM is now in the process of switching to the lower priced Purolator 20,000 mile filters in the picture posted (blue/gold boxes).

I do miss the OG Ultra days
Go online and just order it and you knew it was stellar and inexpensive for what you got. In a search for bigger profits their profits are now disappearing. The biggest blunder in oil filter history

My local Wally is still heavily stocked with Fram products at the moment. Did see they recently brought in the Purolator filters. Personally, they can keep there expensive Purolator filters.

If you like the Endurance you can stock up or the Royal Purple and Amsoil filters are the same. Another option at Walmart is the Mobil 1 oil filter which are now made by Premium Guard.

The answer to that question depends on how you feel about the current FE bypass seal area fit and finish. If posted c&ps with flashlight testing ok by you, then sure. Otherwise, then perhaps not.
