^^^Yes, this even beats out the new Motul 300V 0W-40 coming to this country soon (which I still want to try mixed with their 0W-20 300V, nonetheless), as well as EVERY other 0W-40 on the market as far as I know.
 
since you have a 2 mile commute to work what if you substituted some quarts of RL 5W-30 to thin it out. you would only reduce the top end max performance by x amt

Or better yet, how about with their 0W-30, same add pack, but a higher VI than their 5W-30??
 
I noticed a 1-1.5 mpg decrease after changing from RL 5W-30 to 5W-40. Will return to 5W-30 or 0W-30 next oil change. The engine is noticeably more quiet with the Redline than the Kendall full synthetic dealer fill.
