My neighbors have been partying loudly for 48 hours - not a question

It's the opposite here: if the car is on private property, you can have it towed it at your own expense, if it's on public roads blocking the driveway (so you can't leave) the police can tow it.
I think we are saying the same thing. It hasn't happened to me. I have a wall and a gate and there's no parking allowed anywhere along my property where it faces the street. There isn't even a sidewalk on my side of the street.

If a car blocks your driveway while on your private property, you can have it towed in most jurisdictions. If the vehicle is on public property and blocking your driveway you can make an enforcement request (not 911).
Agree. The vehicle was on the road, public property, but partially blocking both the travel lane and our driveway. Local police insisted we had to call the county's 911 for this. I don't get it either but that's what they wanted us to do.

Maybe the neighbors are partying cause they found out the OP is leaving town for a week or so??

Is the a noise ordnance where you are? Do you know these people...like friendly as neighbors anyway?
That is 1250 ft away? Must be a helluvah racket to bother you from that distance but knocking on the door would be best, followed by a call to the non emergency number if knocking doesn't produce reasonable outcome.

Calling 911 over a non emergency is pure ignorance. Don’t do it or thank you for not.

It be like that sometimes. We all get along out here and it’s pretty quiet most of the time. We do however usually take our turns being the loud ones through the year.

48 hours during the week with no major holiday even close is a bit strange though. Lol.

They would know this only if they know I'm posting here, if they know my user name, and if they saw my post mentioning that I'll be gone for a week. That's highly unlikely. Nobody knows I'm posting here, not even the person who recommended BITOG in the first place.
