My neighbors have been partying loudly for 48 hours - not a question

Like the title says. They live almost a quarter mile away and I can hear them. No idea what they are celebrating but there are having at least two dozen people over. The music and hollering have been going on with short intermissions since midday on Wednesday. It doesn't bother me but Cuddles is upset. He's not barking but I can tell he's distressed and in a quiet rage. Poor puppy. I won't be able to walk him outside until the neighbors quiet down. My cats don't care at all. My wife has decided to stay at her girlfriend's house over the weekend. I fantasize about not feeding and then cutting Cujo, I mean Cuddles, loose tonight. I'm kidding, of course.

Beat me to it.

Totally agree. If this were happening right next to my place and not 1,200 feet away, I would have gone over there and crashed the party.

If wife has to leave the house…..it’s kinda sorta bad.
Oh no, she was going to stay with her girlfriend anyway. They've been planning on doing some girly shopping on Saturday and don't want anything to do with that. :ROFLMAO: It's just us four boys here now: moi, Smokey, Tigger, and Cuddles. Tigger is the boss in the house and Cuddles rules outside. I feed them and then I clean up.

Depends. Had a situation once where someone abandoned their vehicle in front of Mom's house. Wouldn't care except that it was partially blocking the driveway and at an angle where the back was sticking into the travel lane on the street. Called local police number and was instructed to call the county 911 number. I said that it wasn't an emergency but we wanted to get this resolved and they made us call 911. Who then directed the call back to the local police to handle. Go figure.

I'd just remove my hearing aids 'till the miscreants moseyed elsewhere.
You gave me an idea. Ear plugs for Cuddles. I'm not sure how to put them in without first sedating him. He outweighs me by 50 pounds and has bigger teeth than I do.

If a car blocks your driveway while on your private property, you can have it towed in most jurisdictions. If the vehicle is on public property and blocking your driveway you can make an enforcement request (not 911).

It's the opposite here: if the car is on private property, you can have it towed it at your own expense, if it's on public roads blocking the driveway (so you can't leave) the police can tow it.
