Prayers sent that God gives your Mom the strength to go through the doctor's recommend treatments, and that they result in a full recovery and many more years of living.

If it's not too much to ask, will you guys maybe say a quick prayer for her? Thanks.

There are a couple things I'd like you to know; first off, prayers to the God who loves us for her and your family. Secondly, my wife is in her mid-50s and went thru this very thing a few years ago. They did a full hysterectomy followed by chemo and today she is cancer free. I really thought I was going to lose my wife but by God's grace it did not happen.

Shalom.

Thanks for the prayers and warm wishes guys.

My mom's name is Carole.

She's 76. The problem I see for her in going forward, and I'm gonna be really honest here, is she's very tired and getting quite frail. Our family is quite dysfunctional, always has been, so there is that dynamic. I told her how much I love her and apologized for being a big part of the dysfunction and I'm gonna do all I can to make sure she's comfortable going through all this.

What a miserable 24 hours.......

I really appreciate the people on this forum though.

Prayers sent. It is hard to loose your mother. Mine stopped producing enough blood in 2009 and Chemo extended her life a few years, but she suffered a lot. Based on that experience I would at least consider your Mother's wishes.

A recent article talked about immunotherapy clinical trials, many trials and not enough patients.

I would steer her to a big city hospital for second opinion, more treatment options.

Sorry to hear about your mom.

Such sad news about your mom, sending my best condolences.
I lost my mom when I was still a teenager and didn't understand how she got so sick so quickly until my dad told me that her doctor recommended a hysterectomy and she refused to do it. She believed in natural healing and tried to cure herself with herbs and things like that...she never told me or my sister that she had a medical issue. I guess I still carry some anger about that, but my sister was the one who was hurt the most...dealing with life was always a struggle for her and our mom was her #1 booster. My sister never tried to do much with herself after mom died and she ended up passing away even younger than our mom because she ignored her diabetes and heart issues...wonder where she learned that from?

It is a touchy issue when a person chooses to refuse medical treatment...in the end, their wishes must be respected, even if others can't totally understand them.

Prayers for your mothers health bro,

On a side note:
Look into acidic/alkaline diet for cancer please.
I have a very good friend who won the battle with cancer going with an alkaline diet.
