Valvoline Restore and Protect plus on of these take you pick added at the begining of each oil change. HPL Engine Cleaner 1 quart added to Valvoline Restore and Protect each oil change or 1x12oz bottle of Schaeffer's Neutra 131 6oz added to Fresh Valvoline Restore and Protect and 6oz of 131 added 500 miles before oil change. Take your pick do these 3-4 times then do what you like.

A coworker asked me to look at an old Z he had squirrelled away in a free garage.
Out of sight, out of mind.
It was a 280Z...dark green, I think....forget the year.
I jacked up the front of the car.
The front rose. The rear stayed put and the car bent in the middle I SWEAR.

BELIEVE THIS OR NOT, I saw a guy in an identical car but with missing panels, dropping-off his wife at work.
I hooked them up but never learned what came of it as the coworker moved on.

I recall reading many years ago, I may not have all of the facts right ( My guess 20 +/- years ago ) Datsun actually purchased a bunch of old Arizona 240Z and rebuilt them from the ground up and I think sold them as new for some promo.

I recall thinking old Arizona Cars, NOT New York as Arizona has NO rust!

That 69 Coronet that I put Kerosene in was a 383 that my son had left sitting behind my barn with no hood. it had locked the motor up and a pipe wrench plus a cheater bar had it unlocked and running. it was a sludge monster too.

First I've heard of the 383 being a "sludge monster". Was your son's just sludged up/neglected?
