I'm laughing my as.s off here. He bought a used 01 Accord for dirt cheap about 2 months ago. It has a new engine put in about 150K KM ago, it currently has over 300K KM on the body. He did the first oil change a few weeks ago, 5L jug of Motomaster 5w30 dino on sale @ CT. Used an oil extractor because he's lazy and sucked out 4.6L, poured in the whole 5L jug and it was at the full mark on the dipstick, all seemed well. I didn't ask details at the time because he's done dozens of oil changes and it seemed routine because he's a car enthusiast.
Today he told me he saw bubbles on the dipstick. I checked the oil capacity for the F23A1 engine: 4.3L WITH OIL FILTER.
The engine has been running overfilled on oil with the wrong dipstick length for upto 150K KM.
