Get a VOA done on the oil. Some sold their hemi 6.4L that needed 0w-40. They had 36qts that the wanted $5/qt for. I normally wait for the clearance but $180 for 36qts of SN+ SSO 0w-40, I couldn't pass it up for the Ecoboosts.
Are you willing to pay for it?Get a VOA done on the oil.
Except none of the signature series line is API certified correct? So it's not SN+ oil.
Anyways, seems like a good score to me.

I’d be interested to know which 0w-40 is better for $5/qt.You did good, but if you really look at the specs via the SDS Sheet you will see that there are better oils out there. Do not get me wrong, Amsoil makes good products, but there motor oils need to catch up to other motor oils. I will not name the other oils that I feel are better than Amsoil's motor oil's.
The best oil I have ever used came out to $6.20 a quart, which I am using now. You got a great deal on the oil you bought, and I once thought that Amsoil was the best oil out there. When you get someone who is selling an oil really cheap, there is a reason. I may have done the same thing you did with the oil that you bought if I had not been using the oil I am using now, the oil that I am using that came out to $6.20 a quart that was a 5 quart jug that was on sale awhile ago. If you bought it in a quart from Autozone or Advance Auto it would be like $12.99 a quart.I’d be interested to know which 0w-40 is better for $5/qt.
I agree Amsoil may not be the best oil out there, especially for the retail price (never said it was). I am curious why you are afraid to say the oil you mention above? The best oil I have ever used came out to $6.20 a quart, which I am using now. Who the hell hoarders that much Amsoil, lol. A case lasts me two oil changes. SS 0W30 for the Tacoma and 0W20 for the Pilot. Granted I don’t know how much oil the Hemi holds. Some sold their hemi 6.4L that needed 0w-40. They had 36qts that the wanted $5/qt for. It’ll last me 2 ocis for each of our vehicles. That’s roughly 1, maybe 1.5 years. I also change oil in 2 of my family members vehicles so it goes pretty quick but I won’t use this on their vehicles.Who the hell hoarders that much Amsoil, lol. A case lasts me two oil changes. He doesn't wanna turn this into Amsoil VS his oil kind of topic. I would do the same thing if I was him, especially with the "passion" Amsoil dealers have about their products.I agree Amsoil may not be the best oil out there, especially for the retail price (never said it was).
