All Dino for first 68k. Those first 68k were from 1995-2012. All short trips in New England weather til me in 2012. Oil always changed at 3k but short trips were the big norm. May AUnt owned it first then my Grandfatehr who passed at 93 so it was never ever close to hard driven. I got it at 68k, ran a few short OCI's of PYB and have now been using SuperTech Synthetic 5-30.

I expected sludge but none present....just varnish. I drive it 12mi min each run now and am moving to 7k OCI with the Super Tech (have like 6 five qt jugs in my stash).

Wanted to show you all and see what you thought.

BTW it's at 91,500k now.

Fantastic shape. Was always garaged by aunt and then grandfather. Paint still shines when clean!

Just keep driving it and stick to a decent OCI then. If that "supertech" you're using is dino then I'd probably stick to about 5k to 6k mile intervals.

All that varnish will have been deposited before you got the car, and it wont kill that old Camry engine anyway.

Typical 5SFE. Actually it looks a bit on the "better" side for a 5S, which is "kinda rough" by 4cylinder standards, but great for a Camry if that makes sense

That little dastard will run to the days, no worries about that.

Drive it I shall! And the SUper Tech is synthetic. Just counted my stash: have 7 of em! Going to do 7k OCI's now so I'm good til about 148k (91.5 now) with my stash in about 2.5 years. Ya!!! Good times a rollin! Wish I had a stash of tires though!

Ok, so is that the supertech-UD (ultimate durability) then, or do they make another synthetic? BTW. I'm in Australia and we don't have supertech oil here.

Anyway, 7k mile intervals on the synthetic should work well. With a bit of luck the varnish levels might even regress somewhat.
