It's strange how many on here root against a genius like Musk but are fine with the failures running the Big 3. I wonder why?
Because the big three, at least GM is making a lot of money? I think the problem here is, like you, you refer to the failures of GM, yet GM is doing absolutely fantastic with record earnings but you are against them because they are slow to launch an EV?Yeah, there is a more obvious comparison that comes to mind - what have they done by comparison ?
Are you denying that the ICE is a way to power a vehicle that Americans love and Musk doesnt have and maybe he should?
and ... a product like Musks is forced on the taxpayers money being taken and given to purchases of his cars?
Yet, even with Musk, his ONE truck, YEARS BEHIND schedule far more than the big three but somehow that detail is left out?
Hopefully this helps explain an answer to your question. BTW in over a decade Tesla had a profit in only the last two years, three years ago broken even. IN that time Teslas best year was only a little better than GMs worst year in the last decade.
So, so far the failure is Tesla and its future is uncertain, 2 popular models, standard generic stuff compared to GM offerings Tesla doesn't come close, yet.
So please, outline the failures of GM, are they not in business to make money or are they in business to make phone headlines like Tesla? (the cyber truck is an example going on for MANY years)
They are all just vehicles but some in here thinks Tesla is the end all of everything with their two models of cars. (that actually sell)
