Lately, I am liking Wheeler Dealer; I hate the bloke and I know it is all scripted and fake but I appreciate how Ed fixes the mess that Mike drags in to his shop. Obviously, the only way I can see they grabbing a running Boxster for thousand quids means that transaction was fake. You could not even pick up a shell of Boxster for that price to put on a trailer and bring it home. But to counter that, they do sell their finish products for ridiculously low price. Heck, if they put it for sale, I would pay asking price for almost all of their cars without batting an eye.

I've been watching wheeler dealer too, its interesting watching some of the repairs they make.
I just watched one where they got an Audi TT with a bad trans for 1500 pds, and even though they fixed the trans for free, the amount of work to get at it made the 2000 pd profit nearly zero if they accounted for labour.

A lot of the mods that they did to the cars were really stupid. I'm glad they removed some of them before it even left the shop. Plus the body and interior of the car must have been like Swiss cheese after they removed all their excess junk.
