The tow companies are hiring like crazy. Seems like a job that goes unfilled during a booming economy. Seems everyone wants regular hours and not to be rousted out of bed at 3 am. Maybe they just want a few beers during their "me time" friday night. So AAA is likely happy to have anyone for a tow driver.

Just for completeness, the service guy called and indicated the inertial sensors had been tripped and shut the fuel off. He asked me if there was anything I did that would have caused that. Can't think of anything. I drove a few hours, parked the truck and then it wouldn't start.
I did get the tow strap tow out of the area which did have two semi violent yanks, but this was after the truck wouldn't start.
They cleared the codes and the truck started.
I'll be d.i.s. on this one. They are keeping it a few more days; I suspected ground or fuel pump.
