I took this filter off of my 1992 Crown Vic, full story can be seen in the UOA thread here
This filter looks pretty bad, but as far as I can tell, did not fail, no tears in the media that I could find, I think it did it's job under some pretty rough conditions. Happy to have it off the car though, it was not as stuck as I expected it to be
This is the first UOA of my recently purchased 1992 Crown victoria. The milage is low, the exterior and interior are in incredible shape for the age, and the vehicle has some mechanical issues, this is usually how I like to purchase my vehicles. The story from the seller is that the original owner parked it about 10 years ago when she was no longer able to drive, the vehicle sat inside a warehouse, and was recently revived after a long period of sitting, by way of a fuel pump and tank, possibly a wash, and apparently nothing else.
