Hey all. Looking for a decent mid price filter for my crown Vic. After all the fl 820s threads recently looks like they might have a problem. I can get these from rock auto for about the same as the fl 820s. Thanks

Check bypass psi. Could be significantly higher than you Crown Vic specifies!!

I would suggest a.....Fram Tough guard....or better yet (a little more expensive)....a Fram Ultra (which can be used for two OCI's....7500 X 2 = 15000).

Frams are expensive around me the ultra sells for 9 at Walmart and that's if u don't find a orange can in the box and tough guards are 7. I can get the mahle filter for 4.16 at rock or Hastings of 110 locally for 4 bucks only go 6k oci and change the filter every time
