Motorcraft 5W20 - Underrated? Overlooked?

Ran it in the 3v 4.6 almost exclusively.. but for the same price I can get full syn castrol...

This was excellent. on my post on next page I am debating using MC or ST full syn. in my 08 Ranger. You just made up my mind. MC it is!

This there is always another Full Synthetic just as good available for sale. I never seen Motorcraft oil on sale at WM to often not on the shelf and never have seen a Motorcraft rebate!

Because most Ford owners stick to the oil it was recommended on their owner's manual.

I realize this is a six year old thread so I don't know why I'm even commenting, but the OP suggests a Focus running in the Toronto area for 400k is evidence of Motorcraft oil being great.

Fair enough, except Motorcraft oil north of the border is not the same product - it's branded as a conventional and made by Imperial (XOM affiliate/subsidiary).
