This is the same company that gave us "Super Handling - All Wheel Drive", aka SH-AWD on the Acura side. Stuff like this makes me think they come up with the marking jargon in Japanese, and it gets screwed up in the translation. I mean, what fluent-English speaker would really come up with this? Or do they just have some marking flunkies on the payroll?

SH has been around way longer than the SH AWD. Since at least the 4th generation Prelude (early 90's)

I saw this riding in a friend's 2nd generation Prius (2008?) a few months ago. I thought it was very useful for reverse maneuvers in parking lots and driveways.

Did Honda add some internet capability using Bluetooth paired phone in this vehicle? I thought most carriers don't let you mooch the internet off your phone.

Seriously, it makes perfect sense for the vehicle navigation/entertainment system to take advantage of the owner's smart phone. Make the vehicle system an extension of the smartphone and now you have all the features at nominal cost.

in 2003 my Accord 2.4 auto was a all new drivetrain, was a big improvement offering a chain and 5sp auto..like Accords before it proved to be bulletproof durability. Today ten years later at 157k with the air off and tires at 35 I routinely achieve a very competitive +35mpg, the body shows only specs of rust on the hood (probably result of stone impacts)..it runs and drives down the road like the champ it is..if better $25k cars are made I'd like to know.

...another bonus is the insane resale value at any age, condition or mileage.

Like 2003 this new 2013 Accord is a better looking departure and I'm sure the I-4/CVT version will prove to be bulletproof.

Yup, the seventh generation Accord (03'-07') is my favorite. They did a great job with it.

One of the few cars that a good case can be made to buy it new.

The '86-'89 with the popup headlights was very nice also. Tough choice between the two.

Not to mention that it was probably the ONLY affordable mass market with the dbl wishbone suspension at the time. My folks bought a 1986 Accord DX brand new and I was floored at how well the thing handled for the class of car it was in at the time, and yes it had a very comfortable ride as well. A stunning package at the time. Of course the execution of the package quality was at the very top of its class. They were bulletproof as well.

And that generation Prelude was one of the best looking car at the time. I believe that 3rd generation Prelude was available with fuel injection and 4ws steering. It still looks timeless.

Finally saw one in person, a 4 cyl with black leather. Looks very nice and pics don't do it justice. I can't tell it's smaller than the outgoing model, though.

I remember those as well. I worked at a Honda dealer from 1983-1991. I was able to see and drive all the best they offered back then. From the Amazing little CRX Si and HF, Civic Si. Prelude with 4 wheel steering, ect. I actually feel privileged to have been around during that time. Not to mention the excellent VW Rabbit GTI which started the pocket rocket movement in the USA, I actually bought one of these!

2009 was the last year. That's why Honda now has the market on that segment. If the V6/6MT is available in the sedan it could be something I own down the road.

Unfortunately not available for the sedan, look at Infiniti if you want a sedan with a Nissan V6 manual 6 speed (what I have)
