One of the latest conspiracy theories is that the weather was "manipulated" to displace the residents of western NC, so as to access the lithium deposits there. (Never mind the record breaking high gulf water temps)
If these people are so good at putting clues together how do they miss blaming Elon?
He needs the lithium for his cars, and just sent up a space walk, from one of his ships.
Why do they not suspect he had them sprinkle some magic weather changing dust during that walk? ;)

Not referring to the weather related news but a lot of the stories originally not covered (or purposefully ignored) by MSM are first exposed on X / Twitter, which is not censored like any other major platform. The MSM eventually plays catchup and goes on the defensive doing damage control when Elon or other guerilla journalists or an inconvenient truth video exposes holes in some narrative. In recent cases, the prioritization of migrants and other nations over US citizens.

This is one of the reasons you have people Like John Kerry and Bill Gates publicly decrying Elon Musk and the first amendment because it doesn't allow them to control the news cycle and narrative.

No he missed for many other reasons.

Firstly, and by far most importantly, the gun he used was not capable of hitting a target of the size needed to pull off such a shot. Meaning, that if the intention was to time such a shot, whereas, you intended to hit the tip of the ear, while it is moving, the gun used was not and never would of could be accurate enough to make a hit, with that degree of accuracy. It would at best be a 50/50 chance.

While some tout the AR15 for accuracy, it is no where near the level of accuracy needed to make the shot, and not, by the law of averages and MOA. guarantee a tip of the ear shot.

Just as well, the bullet could have hit him square in the eyes, and it would not be truthfully attributed to the performance of the shooter, rather the inaccuracy of the combination of the round and weapon and shooter.

In other words, the idea that the shot was planned to hit the ear, could only had been successful, because of luck, and therefore not be suitable for a public narrative that it was intention to begin with.

But why are we talking about this and not Helene?

I don't know how we got to this topic but the conservation evolved from Helene when FEMA stated they had no money for the next hurricane while being exposed for funding migrants. A lot of people complaining on X due to FEMA's response along with Elon where his delivery of free Starlinks was blocked by the DOT or FEMA resulting in him talking to Peter Buttigieg to resolve the issue.

At the end of the day, the common theme here is other nations and non citizens are getting funding paid by US citizens while many of us get little in return along with bad optics from the admin.

See below, are these good uses of taxpayer money when we have homeless vets, VA hospitals providing poor care, highly priced insulin, and a million other poorly funded programs? Where's Germany or France when it comes to funding the rest of the worlds problems?

Can't believe this thread is not locked. I got my pp slapped for pointing out that everything FEMA does is not above board or in the best interest of suffering citizens. Nothing political at all about my comment.

Funny you mention that. When I was in WNC a guy told me that and I told him to stop believing in that bull excrement because the largest lithium deposit in the US is in Nevada which is infinitely easier to mine than little old WNC.

However there's a quartz mine which serves the world of semiconductors.

Sure. In the abstract, we here on BITOG question the official position of a governmental agency all the time=EPA, and any other regulatory agency which regulates dumb and costly things on cars. This is not political. IMO, nor should it be viewed as political by anyone.
