More Havoline goodness

Sweet! Now it is time for someone to give their opinion that Chevron oils do not have enough VII's. Sorry could not resist.

So what is the difference between the two products?
IMO....they are most likely the same product in different containers. Some for the die hard, loyal Havoline crowd and some for the "nothing is better" Chevron group.
Too bad they don't sell either of these oils east of the Mississippi....otherwise I'd give them a try.
It's just not worth ordering them on-line and paying the premium. If they want people in the east to try their oils....they would make them available.
I'm running some Delo Dino and Peak Full Synthetic at this time....but I've never come across any Havoline in synthetic nor did I happen to see Chevron in Conventional or Synthetic during my local travels. The only exception was in Alaska last summer.

I was a long time user of Havoline dino. I wish someone in my area would carry Havoline synthetic but I can't find it anywhere.
I've used quite a bit of Havoline conventional in the past as well. It was a great oil then and appears to still be excellent stuff. I've never personally seen any of the synthetic. Thanks for the photo.
The chevron supreme line pcmo and the chevron branded havoline oil is avaliable from any chevron distributer. I found one within 50 miles of my house, and for the prices, its great stuff. They only sell by the case though. Check chevrons web site for a listing for a distributer in your area. They have email addresses and such for sales dept for each different distributer by state. The guy that runs the distributer neat me actually met me at a gas station with my oil I bought, at no extra charge. Really nice people.

I would look at a different place to buy oil if you think 5 dollars a quart is a good price. Pennzoil Platinum is 22.XX dollars a quart at Walmart everyday price here. That is less than 5 dollars a quart. I see that some members on here are complaining about 6 dollars a quart price for conventional. Where are you buying oil? Even if I bought GTX which is almost always the most expensive conventional if it is not on sale does not cost 6 dollars a quart even at the auto parts stores around here. It is something like 4.42 a quart at Walmart. It is less when you buy a 5 quart jug. So that gives you an idea why I have almost given up on buying Chevron oils. I like Chevron, but I am not going to pay over $4.49-4.99 a quart for Chevron oil when I can buy other brands for less.
