More Gold P3. My rock crusher!

Built this to smash up rocks while looking for gold. Works better than expected! My Corwell air chisle with a round bit that just fits inside a 2 inch pipe that I welded to a metal plate.

Put rock (quartz leftover from a gold mine) and smash away!



Then dump it out and pan it to see what you got.

LOL. Good luck with all that noise! Might need some of that gold to buy some hearing aids.

BTW that sure seems like a great hobby for profit, or is this kinda like your day job? I'd love to hear more about what you find...etc.

Ya it's extreemly loud and I wear ear covers and ear plugs as well. I'm thinking that an old mudflap may muffle some of the noise.

It's just a hobby I picked up. I've always panned for Gold when I was out goofing off in the 4x4 but never found anything untill reciently. I have a regular day job at a Radiator and AC shop. When it's slow and the boss is gone thats when I build things to smash rocks.

It's mostly for exercize I guess. I was really out of shape so I'm using Prospecting as an excuse to walk up hills to the old mines.
