Monroe Reflex Shocks

I installed 4 Monroe Reflex shocks on my 99 Expedition 2 yrs and 15k ago.The car doesn't see off road use or haul anything,yet the rear shocks are blown out.Oil leaking out of one and the other the piston scraping inside the bore can be heard.
The front are getting a bit bouncy also.I thought i was installing a quality unit but apparently either i got a bunch defects or they are just to light for this vehicle.

I will get these exchanged under the warranty and sell them on ebay.I want decent ride and good quality,my options so far are..
OEM The originals went 7 yrs and died of housing rust not function.

Does anyone have experience with these brands on heavier SUV or pick up or maybe another alternative,price is not an issue.
I'm leaning towards the Bilstein but would like a few opinions before pulling the trigger.Thanks

The joke is that KYB stands for Keep Your Bilsteins.

Bilsteins are probably the best, but are you willing to spend the money?

I had Monroe Reflex on my 99 Expedition, changed them twice under their lifetime warranty. I changed them about every 50K. Traded the vehicle with 178K and it rode very well, no shake, waddle or roll.

Totally owned, engineered, built, marketed, warranted, by Monroe.

While I've allways been happy with other Monroe lines, I've never had very good success with Reflex I've used or sold. Consider trading in on and installing Sensa-Trac?
