Yes, this a little concerning me to me as well. Removing a link that is an educational presentation not intended to sell anything? Over the line, IMO. It seems we can only learn things published by sponsors. All other information is banned? Silly.

Afton Chemical is another producer of lube additives.

ZDDP forms a high friction antiwear layer on metal contact points...a tribofilm. ZDDP plus moly for a low friction antiwear layer.

Afton's "Liquid Titanium" is claimed by them to form a similar low friction antiwear tribofilm, but at lower cost than moly. ConocoPhillips and another oil maker are using Liquid Titanium. Afton is the chemical company that developed Dexron-VI with GM; they're a competent outfit.

I just realized that the Mobil Delvac 1300 Super contains the molybdenum trimer (trinuclear molybdenum - sulfur DTC cluster) -- apparently the best friction-modifier - extreme-pressure oil additive out there:

"Trimer additive technology is a patented additive technology that imparts outstanding wear performance, effective oxidation resistance, and improved frictional properties while contributing little to the overall ash content enabling Mobil Delvac 1300 Super to deliver performance beyond the boundaries of industry requirements of API CJ-4." (From Delvac 1300 Super datasheet.)

Always glad to use the Delvac 1300 Super.

I just wanted to say I have purchased two bottles of LIQUI MOLY
because they were on special so I thought I would give them a go
have to say I'm very impressed the first one I added into my redline oil 5W 40 I let it set for two days and no separation at all I'm not saying that it doesn't separate it probably would over extended time but I did notice a quieter engine especially in my diesel just my findings thank you
