Did the third oci in my Jeep Compass 2.4 motor, switching from QS green bottle and ToughGard....to Mobil with a Purolator classic.

What a difference, like night and day. This motor was previously a little noisy...but the Mobil seemed to make all the difference, very quiet & smooth acceleration.

Now my concern: Mobil is a sodium based oil, which I read somewhere on this forum is maybe not good for this engine?

Or am I worrying for nothing?

If sodium based add packs were a problem, I'd be in real trouble with three of our cars, as would every other Valvoline user, or anyone who uses GTX.
No worries with the Mobil Super.

Night and day difference?
Over the years, I've put on some different carbs and cams without a 'night and day difference'. Expensive tuning chips without a night and day difference. Brakes, etc., etc..

And all I had to do was change the oil from one to another that is almost identical!

OK - I'm outta here!
