I picked up an o/c sale special at O'Reilly's.5 quarts of Mobil Clean 5000 and a store brand filter for my 89 sidekick.4 10w30 and 1 5w30 and a microguard filter.
It is kind of odd,the stores are not really pushing this sale yet in the 3 stores at stopped at none had a full 5 qts in a single viscosity. When you asked about any stock in the backrooms only 1 store had a sales guy who bothered to check(out of stock).
Any way i drained the old oil out it was a quite black but still flowed out pretty good.i believe it was maxlife semi synth.i pulled the old filter and replaced with the new filter which was about a half inch shorter and narrower than the old one.but it fit and did not leak.
So I took the zuki for a spin.It seemed to run a bit quieter but not quite as smooth. We'll see how it shakes down as i drive it for a while.
Mobil Clean seems to have a good rep here which is why i picked it over the Peak oil that was also on sale at the same price.

i like mobil clean a lot, you should go on PQIA to see a virgin oil analysis

just checked the oil after about 700 miles it is still clear and light brown.and no consumption in this period.seems decent oil, just when i opened the bottles it had an odd acrid smell.

Mobil Clean 5000 is the best oil that XOM makes IMO. Good choice for your car. Sleep well at night.
