I have a question about the Mobil Clean High Mileage... I noticed it is "energy conserving" while all other brands are not. How does Mobil create a high mileage oil a manage to keep it energy conserving? Is their HM any good?
I can only find 10w30 at Advance or Autozone. No 5w30 to be found anywhere...so now have a delemma about using 10/30 in the winter.

Mobil is not keeping up with 5w30 supply & demand in any of their lineup of oils. Don't know if it's Katrina-related or not.

I like Pennzoil & Castrol High Mileages. Read more oil-related problem cures with those two brands. Last thing that interests me is energy-conserving when treating an oil smoking, dirty or leaking motor.

I'm using Mobil clean High Mileage right now, ;cause I found it with a Mail-in-rebate fro AAP. I thought it would be a suitable oil for the winter 6 months in my Tbird, 'cause it's thinner than other High Mileage oils. It's doing great so far in the 'Bird.

I'm saving the Havoline High Mileage, which is a lot thicker, for the summer 6 months.
