You have to reason this stuff a bit. I think PureOne is a great filter. The only objections that I've seen have been for the dome end bypass and a few issues with noise on a very few engines. You've got to weigh any criticisms of it against the millions of units (at least hundreds here) who DON'T have issues.
For example, for a customer who wasn't going to do at least ONE YEAR, and/or also wasn't going to do more than 10k, I probably would offer them the WIX (which I also sell). At some point below that, I can still offer someone ONE YEAR service intervals ..usually, but I can only do it if the alternative is more frequent maintenance and higher costs.
Gary, at some point with folks like Q-Tip, you have to give in like I did, and utilize the ignore function. Try it, you may like it. Some folks, you just can't reason with them.
