TWBG said' "My problem was it was a camshaft bearing failure that seized the cam momentarily causing the timing belt to skip teeth and thus valve to bend.
Failure happened 2000 miles after the last oil change. And 10,000 miles after an Acura dealership installed fresh timing belt, water pump, tensioners etc."
Sounds like the the tension on the timing belt was too tight or too loose. I'll guess bearing failure was only on the belt end, not other end as well.
If the dealer did the original replacement, it's would be easier to blame the oil if that's what the Customer thought.
