Not really, but if it makes you feel better to post that on a forum....they must be ____.

lol look at his name, hes a honda fanboi. honda people are among the most level headed and unbiased auto enthusiasts I know! Which is why his opinion means so much.

The openmindedness of Toyota fans is not quite as pronounced as the sheer objectivity and unbias of honda fan-kids though

TWBG said' "My problem was it was a camshaft bearing failure that seized the cam momentarily causing the timing belt to skip teeth and thus valve to bend.

Failure happened 2000 miles after the last oil change. And 10,000 miles after an Acura dealership installed fresh timing belt, water pump, tensioners etc."

Sounds like the the tension on the timing belt was too tight or too loose. I'll guess bearing failure was only on the belt end, not other end as well.

If the dealer did the original replacement, it's would be easier to blame the oil if that's what the Customer thought.

I dont think that person was wrong for saying mazdas are garbage, and im suprised that apparently you still like toyota after seeing your friends suffer.

I do. Should I chime in with a "that car sucks" every time someone posts something related to a car I don't like? Would you prefer to read 50 posts of one line opinions on a car brand every time someone asks a technical question? Comments like that would be okay in a related thread, like "What do you think of Mazda's reliability" or "I'm thinking of buying a new Mazda", if it provided more details. But it didn't even provide any useful information.

You are surprised that I still respect Toyota only because you don't know any details behind my post. My post provided no useful information and was presented in an inflammatory manner. I really should have just put up the "do not feed the troll" banner!

This was an Acura that specified 5W-30, but it seemed that 5W-30 Mobil 1 did not hold up to the summer heat.

Please provide the link to the UOA that proves it!
