While they do have a 0w50 on the pick list, they do not (yet) have the 0w50 oil in the product data sheets. I can see that it has a lot of ZDDP in it. The FAQs only tell you about the ZDDP levels, and nothing about the actual viscosities, HTHS,...

I've got an old Mercury with a 429CJ engine, I've been running Mobil 1 15w-50. It has more ZDDP than the other Mobil 1 but not as much as this racing oil. Do you think the 0W will be too thin for the journals or would it make sense to switch to this??
Someone had pointed this oil out a wile back looks good but man loaded with tons of VII???, shear????

they don't recommend this oil for street use because of the catalytic converters issues with the added zinc(1800 PPM)if that would bother someone and maybe it don't have enough detergent additives??

I'd love to know the TBN/Detergent level. I know they say not for street use, but if you don't burn oil, and it has detergents, it could be a neat street oil.

Yes I would run it in my Discovery if it had regular detergent levels.

If it's priced anything like their 0W-20 and 0w30 race oils it will be expensive and IMO uncompetitive.
Here in Canada we've had M1's 5W-50 street oil for years.

That stuff is almost $17 a quart! No way is any oil worth that price. If it was competitively priced,I`d try it in a heartbeat.

Let's hope their product is more consistent than the information they provide in various pieces of literature...
