are these a direct replacement for a Puro L10241? pretty sure they are, just checking. Would they be fine to use on a 2.7 liter 4 cyl Tacoma? it specs a 10241. I know theyre built to certain ford and mopar specs, would they still work fine? i know the MC is a purolator, mopar looks like a wix. want to use them as i can easily get them at walmart.

The FL-910S is the direct cross to the L10241. I don't know the Mopar # off the top of my head but they are just Motorcrafts that cost 3 extra bucks. If you have room you can also use a Motorcraft FL-400S, which is just a longer FL-910S.

I own a 2008 Tacoma 2.7L & use the Baldwin 7020. BUT the Ford Motorcraft is a very good filter. If the Mopar filter is indeed a Wix filter, you can't go wrong there either, assuming Mopar specs. the standard Wix media. If it were my pickup, given the two choices you specify, I'd go with Motorcraft, simply because Mopar has used various suppliers in the past and consequently the overall quality has varied...now, if it is indeed a Wix product, then I'd go by price between the Chrysler and Ford filters.
