Some people are giving their opinions without mentioning what version they have.
I have both the 1/4 and 3/8 non fuel types and love them. I then bought the 3/8 fuel type with high expectations. Not worth it since it costs much more and doesn't qualify for the battery deals so common at HD. I especially found fault with the larger head which is often an impediment in tight quarters.
But in general the fuel types do have small but significant advantages. I own about a dozen of them of all types including gardening, etc.
