Metal vs. Rubber Valve Stems video

For off road conditions I think I would install these flush valve stems instead. No chance of knocking them off,

Every car I've ever had came with Rubber valve stems, but my Shelby came with metal. I assumed it was due to the tpms being located in the valve stem, but other similar applications use rubber.

Maybe wheel speed?

Sorry if this is a dumb question... can I replace metal valve stem tpms sensors with new rubber valve stem tpms sensors?

I got a decent deal on tires at Walmart, so I'm going to have them install the new tires with new TPMS sensors. I have a 2008 Honda Civic LX automatic sedan, and I believe my current TPMS sensors are the original. My "TPMS" light has been on for a while. Walmart said they use Bartec sensors, but they don't have the sensors in stock currently. I was going to order the Bartec TPMS sensors myself, but I find them with rubber valves. My question is: if my current TPMS sensors on my 2008 Honda Civic LX automatic sedan have metal valve stems, can I replace them with new TPMS sensors that have rubber valve stems? I think I can, I just want to make sure. Thanks
