We have three CVPI's. Two of them belong to my kids and they are very solid cars. They were former take home highway patrol cars.

These seem to be very popular among their drivers! I dont really care for them but have driven 2 that family members own, a 96 PI and an 01 base. Trunk is huge which is nice. Cup holders blow. Back seat is not as big as would seem, especially if you have a carseat and a couple of 6'3 guys.

The 96 had a blown intake around 130k, which i heard was common. Better than GM's intakes! The 01 had a coil on plug go bad so it was missing for a while. I heard that's common too.
