MC semi syn 5W-20

Watching oil cost head up the last few weeks and having the day off, decided to add to my stash of Motorcraft 5W-20 Semi synthetic. To my surprise the 5qt jug was till $11.50 so a grabbed 4 more making my reserve 8 now.

Feel like I'm stealing

Bottles say Lee on the bottom.

There is a madness to this.

I do not want to risk the need to revalidated (UOT)a new version down the road or retest some other oil if this gets more costly. Test data has told me just what's needed with this on my car and the wifes.

$11.50 is big time steal...I paid 18 bucks for the same thing at Wally World recently...I thought that was a good price...The 4.6 modular loves the 5w20 Motorcraft.

I just saw the MC blend for $11.50 here in Charlotte. $2.77/ qt bottle. Just for fun I priced the Castrol Think-With-Your-Disptick-Jimmy $6.97/qt. and $25 for the 5 qt. Ouch....

when the price goes up a lot of people extend their oci... I saw it myself when prices went up a while back the oil in wal mart had dust on it and when asked a friends son that worked there he said it was because the price went up

I would rather skip a couple of lunches then extend my oci...But that is just me.

Here in Upstate South Carolina, o'Reillys is selling the 5qt. jug of MC Syn. Blend and a MC filter for $14.99. I bought 2 changes from 3 different O'Reillys this week. I'll go back for more later.

I feel like I'm steeling when I get an awesome oil like Delo 400 LE for under $10 a gallon. Motorcraft 5w20 is a rocking deal though too.

Great oil at a great price, so long as you don't live in NYC like myself. 11 bucks in PA, and 18 in NY.

Well I went and got MC blend 5w20 for $11.00/5qt. jug and a couple extra qts. for $2.77 each. The MC filer 820S was $4.17.

It's great oil. Combined with the NAPA gold filter, I just made the decision to extend the OCI on the expedition using it to 7500 miles. It loves it.

I believe it. I heard it's $60~ per day to park at a deck in Manhattan.

Happen to be in wally world Sunday and yep got 4 more at $11.50
Also daringly got 4 10W-40 MC Heavy Duty jugs for my 7.3 Turbo F-350 Dually. $11.50 for that also.

I suspect they will be catching on pretty soon

Pretty sure at 50qts I'm good for a few years. Honda takes 4 qts

Right now, the 'steal' in our area is 'lingering' 5-litre jugs of VWB for $10.88 at WM. An unreal price for Canada.
