I just picked up 5 QTs of VV179 Valvoline Maxx Life FULL SYNTHETIC 5W30 and with tax it was $52.00

Thats more $ then ROYAL PURPLE or Pennzoil Ultra....

What do you guys think? Is that over priced or is VALVOLINE MAXX LIFE FULL SYN Worth each penny???

Im starting to look at Mobil 1 High Milage

Or Maxx Life Blend

what you all think?
 
NO! Not at the price you paid. You got ripped off. Its $22.47 for 5qt jug at walmart. You can even often find it for $30 WITH an oil filter at auto part store specials like Advance Auto Parts, Autozone, or Oriellys.

Its like $25 at walmart. Not a big Valvoline fan.
 
No oil is worth more than 35 / 5qt. No matter what.

Most of these top tier oils are avaliable at walmart for 20-28.
Even mobil1 EP is less than 30.

Autozone Oriley and Pepboys always have good oil on sale when cobined with filter.
For example PepBoys has ultra + PurSynth filter for 40 bucks.

It has a small Rear Main seal leak but it stopped ever since I put ATP 205 Reseal.

The people I bought the car from used to use Blend and had it done and Goodyear, and thats where they had the timing belt changed.

Runs very good and trans is perfect.

so what do you think???

M1 HM FULL SYN that is half the price

or VALVOLINE MAXX LIFE BLEND

Or I was even thinking of Quaker State DEFY but it dont have the API Donut on it saying if its SN or SM

This is the BLEND.. Not full syn What I have is below.

Walmart does not sell the Maxx Life FULL SYNTHETIC Anymore.. Not in years

they do sell the Synthetic Blend
