$25? Wow, I've never priced one but I thought they were expensive. Regardless, if a MAF sensor is cleaned it is imperative that it is allowed to dry completely. In this case longer is better.I can buy a brand new oem maf sensor for $25

Regarding the pcv valve. So you think I should replace the 2 pcv valves along with the 2 pcv valve hoses just as general maint. ?Change the ATF instead. That often gets overlooked along with other fluids and the pcv valve.
Replace the PCV valves, sure, but the hoses ? That's not typically done.... I suppose if they're pretty short runs and each end is easily accessible, go ahead. They could have oil residue built up inside of them. You could also shoot some brake cleaner in them and get rid of residue as well.So you think I should replace the 2 pcv valves along with the 2 pcv valve hoses just as general maint. ?
This was a joke... I was making fun of when you said "I love my truck" twice in a rowI now think this thread is a trolling joke. I love my truck so much! used twice.![]()
I cannot believe we all did not ask you this question... What kind of truck do you have?I sincerely want to thank everyone who has replied to my thread. I am no means a mechanic but am very big on maintaining my truck. Anything that I can do to get better gas mileage is extremely important to me. Thanks again and if there is anyone else who wants to comment please feel free too. I really like this website a lot!
Huh, didn't expect that make. Question time: Does the truck still ride well at 150k? Any suspension issues during its 150k? Still as powerful as the day you got it? Any major or even minor repairs on it?2008 Nissan Titan LE 4x2 Crew Cab 5.6V8 Flex Fuel Engine.

My dad drives like an old lady high on pot.
Yes my truck very strong. The my truck is 317HP bone stock. Just a few weeks ago I had all the camshaft position sensors replaced along with the knock sensors. For maint. I had them replace my cabin air filter. My local mechanic said that I needed to take it to my local Nissan dealer which scared me to death regarding how much the cost would be. Out the door it was $1,600.00 which almost gave me a stroke! LOL.Huh, didn't expect that make. Question time: Does the truck still ride well at 150k? Any suspension issues during its 150k? I have hated Nissan for a while ever since my dad had a '95 pick up truck. Rear axle went, engine lost compression, clutch failed. My dad drives like an old lady high on pot. It was not his driving at all.. 130k miles and it was junked.
Recently I had an Armada rental (2019 model). It was hands down the best SUV I have ever driven. Power, ride, amenities, comfort. Did I say power?
I asked so I could see what kind of truck you loved at 150k.
Thanks a lot for that info!I do not like Gabriel Struts and shocks. I had a very bad experience with them a bit back. I would seriously look into the bilsteins or even go nissan again. I know someone will chime in and say Gabriel makes the shocks for Nissan or something, but I'm just telling you my Gabriels sucked. Shouldn't need a lifetime warranty on shocks and struts.

In this video, the comments were full of people trashing Gabriel's shocks, so they turned off the comments
Hank Hill. I forgot to mention one other thing that my local nissan dealer found on my truck. Check this out! Some varmint (squirrel, rat, ect) chewed this wiring harness up bad! So that had to be replaced too.Huh, didn't expect that make. Question time: Does the truck still ride well at 150k? Any suspension issues during its 150k? Still as powerful as the day you got it? I hate rodents, specifically chipmunks. A munk ate the wiring harness for the four 02 sensors on my BMW 750i. Dealer quoted 2.5k. Local ma and pa, 600. You definetly needed a lift for that repair, you had to drop the exhaust too. Local guy took pity on my poor soul. I am terrible to those things all year round. I feel guilty for a few mins every time I "eliminate" one, but then I think of all the bullchit I went through with that car and my blood boils. They ate a vacuum line too, I fixed that.Hank Hill. Hank Hill! Do you know if Walmart is a Bilstein distributor? I can't find that info online.I hate rodents, specifically chipmunks. We have Red Tailed Hawks, Falcons, Golden Eagles, and Bald Eagles here. You would think with them nesting in my yard they're would be a shortage or critters, but there is not. Must be good eating in the orchard behind my house. I contemplated getting some barn cats for this purpose, but the neighbors said no.
