I have gone 372,000 miles on a small block chevy with NO UOA, Stevie you were the one that started this Luvin' the MMO post here, you posted that your car is running better, and now you are against this MMO in the fuel becuase of what Terry told you. If I sent Terry an oil sample and he told me too stop using auto-rx and MMO I would have to question his reasons. You did not use MMO in your oil, you used it in your fuel, how did it come up in your UOA, was this fuel dillution or something.

Does anyone have a UOA from Blackstone Labs that says MMO is harmful, I killed a converter on my El Camino because I changed the air cleaner, there was a pipe going from the exhaust manifold to my air cleaner that let in hot air when the car started up and then the flapper would close off the warm air and let the cool air in, it was malfunctioning and only letting hot air in, not good when the car warmed up because it hardly had any power, that converter went bad from running to rich, probably threw a bunch of carbon in there. I just hollowed the thing out and passed emmisions perfectly until I got historic plates.

I am not buying anything here unless there is proof that whatever chemicals are in there will hurt anything in the fuel system or cat converter.

Unless I am wrong if you are using MMO in your fuel and it is showing up in your oil analysis you may have some other issues going on here. I asked Gary Allan about using MMO in the fuel and he said it was fine, I will listen too Gary before I would listen too Terry who charges everyone too be on his website.

I know I started the "Lovin' MMO" thread, but unfortuantely from an analysis of MMO it would appear that the chemicals in it can be harmful to Catalytic converters... Terry never said it was hamful but I drew this conclusion about it after I saw the numbers.

Draw your own conclusions but I won't be using it if it can possibly damage components. I find it hard to believe it will as there are members on the board that have used it for a long time with no ill effects and this I can't explain, but I still don't want to take the chance...

With that said, I'm withdrawing from this thread completely... I will leave it up to everyone else to post and make up their minds as I don't want to start a war... I would even like it if a Mod locked the thread.
