Lucas oil quality

I use their marine grease (Blue stuff) and it seems fine. Never tried their motor oils. THOUGHT of using the extreme duty marine motor they sell but due to no reviews, I stayed with the Mercruiser stuff. Then found that Merc/Quicksilver also makes a 25-50 syn blend which was what I was looking for anyway. It is available but not as common as the 25/40 oil.

It is very thin. So it will no doubt creep into bearings and the like. And free up sticky anything. But I have my doubts about it lasting any length of time. It seems like a glorified penetrating oil.
