Lube for squeaky oven door

GE states "If the door squeaks as it is opened or closed, a small amount of non-flammable silicone grease lubricant spray (not an aerosol) can be applied to the hinge." Another recommendation that I saw is WD-40 300g Specialist High Performance Silicone Lubricant

perhaps it is the open/close spring ,or a metal arm sliding mechanism on the frame of oven, that you can adjust by a slight bent to it with a tap of a hammer or a quick smear of high temp grease, it may not be the hinge itself.

Thanks, I guess that would include common brake assembly grease.

So here’s how far I made it. With the door off ( straight pull) and door on I used my silicone paste brake lube and used a Q tip to coat the pivot point and any metal sliding sections. It was way better but still had a squeak on the right side hinge. I believe there is a spring inside, so I got out a 35 year old can of Prestone Silicone spray and gave out a few shots. Made it a bit better but there is still a slight squeak when the door approaches full open.

We use white lithium grease on the incinerator door hinges. Should be good for an oven. I can't remember ever having to lube oven door hinges.
