Lower End Riding Mower

I thought I did. Ebay is tough sometimes. I see a couple mowers a year that are bought off Ebay. Always junk! And people pay premium prices for them and drive hundreds of miles to pick them up. I offer a serious rider that will last for years without more than a small amount of maintenance and people won't bid. I even included video of it working. I swear, folks bid it way up if the unit is barely visible in a dark picture sitting beneath a tree in the backyard with rust and they use the magic words..."worked two summers ago except for loud knocking and squealing...I think it just needs a new plug". BTW, I'm getting $300 for the old Murray tonight after work. FINALLY!
See the Murray do it's stuff at:

I have one of the lower end JD's from a box store with the Tuff Torq (?) tranny, and I love it. They are so much faster and easier to use than a geared model, there really is just no comparison.

A hydro is well worth it, IMHO.

Yep, once you get into a foot controlled hydro for cutting grass, there's no going back to a gear drive. Problem is- if you want to do other tasks aside from mowing, you need a heavy-duty hydro or a gear drive.

my john deere 210 (1979) can be bought for $1000, and it'll outlast anything new at sears or the box store. murrays are for boys.
