Looking for LED Equivalent

I tend to agree with you there on not liking overly yellowish, I just don't like the blue tint of the 5000K. Normally I like 3500 as I mentioned, but 4000K would probably be a good compromise for something that you wanted a bright look for. It's just not common to find things in that 4000 range unless you get an adjustable light.

I like 5000K in the kitchen and some work benches. Elsewhere in the house, no way. I like warm, but I don't find overly yellow warm pleasing at all. More natural I guess. 4000K??

Yes somewhere between the led and filament you had in your last picture would have my preference.

I tried one of the Lemeng by carving/grinding the base. They are super yellow and hum. They do dim OK though.

So I changed them all yesterday for the Noobibaba LED's. They work fine, the light is not as blue as it appears in the picture. One flickered a bit, replaced that bulb and it's OK. I can't use them in dim mode, because flickers. Don't need dim mode.

Not a bad way to go with lowest hasssle.
