13K WITH Super Tech synt in MB. Now I do 10k changes in my ML BT and my Jag X type.
MB gets 229.51 oil and the Jag what ever Synthetic is on sale currently Napa for the past two changes.
BOth engines are spotless inside.

Have done just shy of 30k on a 2000 TDI Jetta that had a Frantz toilet paper bypass filter - but with 1/2qt topup and a new TP roll every 5k so it does not quite qualify I suppose. I think prior to the bypass I had done 18k on on OCI. This is pretty standard practice for a TDI though.

Same here. I have a problem.

A little over 14k on my last oci in the Fit, Critic! What did I say it was? A mix of Pennzoil High Mileage, Havoline HM, and MMO??? lol.

I don't know I had a couple of beaters back in school that had oil in them when I got them, and just kept adding.

I got a Golf for free that was in decent shape but had been sitting for 3 years. Oil looked tan, so GTG, just kept adding whatever was cheapest at the auto parts store. Sold the car 15k miles later for $700.

I'm going to guess the oil was 4 years old at that point and probably had 25k miles on it, maybe more.

Than I had a green Jetta which I hated and wanted to blow it up so I could junk it sooner. So I never checked the oil, it was tar black and barely on the stick when I got it. Just ran it, never blew though. Drove itself to the junk yard after 5k miles.

What is the longest that you have ever gone on a fill of oil?

I'm either conservative or backward, since I never go much beyond 6K on an OCI.
The '99 Accord will have the Edge SM that's in it drained at a nice, round 153K, after 6332 miles of use, plus likely a few extra, since I doubt I'll get it at exactly 153K.
This will be the longest I've ever run any oil.

About 10,000 miles in about a year on a 3.8 Grand Caravan using Mobil 5W-20 EP. Right now the van has 0W-20 but will go only about 8,000 miles, since I do a yearly OCI.

we had a few customers come in to the shop that never changed their oil and they were high mileage motors. when we took them apart it was amazing how much crud was in them...

we also had an engine here that had a bad drain plug so the customer just welded it!
oil was black as the night he said he changed filters once a year...engine had 198,000 miles on it when we rebuilt it the rest of the truck was in pretty bad shape too....It was one of the construction companies we reboild for.

Makes me wish I knew how many miles my sister had on her car.

She's one of those types who doesn't have time to fix anything and when it came out on the dipstick once dark as the freaking night all she said was "I should get it changed, I dunno if I ever have".

That was about 3 years into her owning the car...the engine seized a few months after that...would've loved to have just taken the valve cover off it.

Needless to say a 1994 Cavalier sure hangs on for a long time when its being whipped senselessly.

Passenger Car Conventional - 10,000 Miles (1 - Motorcraft FL500S).

12k on Mobil 1 5w30 back in 2003. It smelled pretty bad and dark at the end, probably due to all the 100mph / 4000rpm constant drive between SF and LA (6 hours each way every other week) and the 50mile daily commute each way with 4 people in the car. I've also done 8k on SuperTech conventional and it was pretty dark back in 2003 as well.

14,600 miles Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5-30. Used only 1/4 qt as noted on the dip stick at the oil change. 1997 Lincoln Town Car w/ 186,000
miles on the clock. Just traded the car w/ 232,000 miles and it used virtually no oil on my regular M-1, 5-30 7500 mile oci.
