I will be in London the middle of September and want to catch two or three West End shows. My wife won't be with me this time, so I'm free to do what I want
. When we travel together, she picks the shows, often buying tickets the day-of for quite a discount. The only tickets I've bought so far are for Les Miserables. My wife never cared to see it. I've heard good things about Hadestown, but their ticket prices are stupid-crazy if purchased in advance. Book of Mormon is on my radar, but even with my hearing aids, I'm concerned I'll miss some bits.
What musicals, if any, would be at the top of your list?
BTW, I grew up in rural Oklahoma, or as my wife calls it, Okrahoma. I have to rely on spellcheck when typing "culture". I just like something entertaining with good music.
